Bounce Star Terms of Use

1. About these terms

These terms set out how you may use the mobile game Bounce Star (the "Game") provided by momolab ("we"), and the rights and duties of both sides. Anything not covered here is governed by Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/) and applicable law.

2. Accepting and changing the terms

  1. By installing and using the Game you agree to these terms.
  2. We may change these terms within the limits of the law. We will announce changes in the Game or on this page 7 days before they take effect (30 days for changes that reduce your rights).

3. Using the Game

  1. The Game needs no account. Your progress and your coins and items are stored only on your device.
  2. Deleting the app, changing devices or resetting your device erases your progress, coins and items, and we cannot recover them. The Game has no cloud save or account restore.
  3. We may change the Game's content, numbers and products to improve it, or stop offering the Game if we must. We will give 30 days' notice before ending the service.

4. Paid products

  1. Paid products in the Game (coin packs, the starter pack, booster bundles, the piggy bank) are bought through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms.
  2. Each product's contents and price are as shown on the purchase screen. Time-limited products (for example, one hour of unlimited hearts) start as soon as they are bought and run on the device clock.
  3. The starter pack can be bought only once per game save on a device.
  4. Coins and items are a licence to use them inside the Game only. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money, transferred or sold.
  5. The Game sells nothing whose outcome is decided by chance.

5. Cancellations and refunds

  1. Apple processes all payments, so refunds are requested through Apple (https://reportaproblem.apple.com). We cannot return payments ourselves.
  2. Where your local law gives you a right to cancel a digital purchase (for example, Korean e-commerce law allows cancelling an entirely unused product within 7 days of purchase), you may use it through Apple.
  3. Because the Game delivers products immediately, the right to cancel may be limited once delivery has started, as permitted by law. This is shown on the purchase screen. This applies to:
    • products whose coins or items you have used, even in part;
    • products whose time-limited effect has started (such as unlimited hearts);
    • products, such as the piggy bank, whose in-game reward is paid out at the moment of purchase.

    If you live in the EU or the UK, you agree when buying that delivery starts immediately and that you lose your right of withdrawal once it has started.

  4. A purchase made by a minor without a parent's or guardian's consent can be cancelled as provided by law.
  5. If Apple refunds a purchase, we may remove the coins and items received from it.
  6. If you were charged but did not receive a product, restart the Game: the store re-delivers unfinished purchases and the Game grants them. If that does not work, contact us at the address below.

6. Your obligations

You must not modify the Game, obtain coins or items by abnormal means, or interfere with other players' use of the Game.

7. Limitation of liability

  1. We are not liable for losses caused without our intent or negligence, such as natural disasters, device or network failures, or outages of third-party services such as Apple.
  2. Progress, coins and items lost by deleting the app, changing devices or resetting a device cannot be recovered, as stated in section 3.2.

8. Privacy

Personal information is handled under the Bounce Star Privacy Policy (https://bouncestar.momolab.shop/en/privacy/).

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes go to the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. Nothing in this section reduces the rights you have under the consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
